We sell bare root and grown in the pot, and bagged trees.
Be careful selecting potted trees/shrubs for your planting,
there are many businesses that say they sell potted trees. It is really a
bare root tree put in a pot and immediately sold. If a tree has not grown
at least one year in the pot you are not getting a potted tree and the complete
root system you need for survival. To tell if it is a potted tree slide the tree
out of the pot. The root mass should retain its shape and hold together
when removed from the container. If the soil all falls off it is a bare root
tree and should be at bare root prices. A potted tree with its complete
root system will hold on to its soil and you are
getting what you pay for.
